Meet the Team

  • Founder, Chairman of the Board and President – Douglas M. Cluff, MD received his Medical Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas; he did his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Conroe, Texas.  In 2017, after practicing for 16 years at a large health organization in Irving, Texas, he started a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Flower Mound, Texas (TLC Family Health).  He has founded various lifestyle and weight management programs for both children and adults. He is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is fluent in Spanish. He and his wife, Sandra, have six children, ages 11-23, one son-in-law, age 26, and a granddaughter (born July 2018).
  • Board Member – Ruthann Cunningham, BS, MS received her Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness and Wellness Management and her Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She is currently working on her PhD in Health Science from A.T. Still University in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a Clinical Research Senior and is now a Population Health Project Consultant for Intermountain Health Care in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has coauthored presentations and articles published in or with the American College of Sports Medicine, The Journal of Multidisciplinary Health Care, and the International Journal of Exercise Science.
  • Board Member – Latoya Y. Edwards, MPH, RD, CSP, LD received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Didactics from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Health Professions in Dallas Texas, and her Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Dallas, Texas. She is a Registered Dietitian, currently working for the Texas Scottish Rite and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospitals. She is also a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, and volunteers as a coordinator for the Get Kids Fit Fest for the Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity.
  • Secretary – Eva Smith, BA received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dillard University, New Orleans. She retired with 30 years of service from the US Postal Service with most of her career working as a supervisor in Human Resources. She is currently working her Plan B as an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. She loves meeting, working with, and helping people in any way she can.
  • Treasurer – Richard Kinley, BBA, MM has thirty plus years of accounting and tax experience in public, private, and nonprofit agencies. He received his BBA in accounting from Gonzaga University in 1976, and his Masters degree in Management from Webster University in 1984.
  • Legal Counsel – Robert K. Frisch, Attorney at Law received his Juris Doctor (JD) law degree from Vanderbilt University and is currently in private practice in Dallas, Texas.
  • Web Design and ITChristanya Nold has been in technology support for 15 years. She has a wide variety of skills, including web design, UNIX and Windows server administration, IT service process engineering, shell scripting, synthetic transaction monitoring, and process automation. She was awarded her employer’s prestigious Chairman’s Award in 2008 and is ITIL v3 Foundations certified. Personal interests include raising her son, camping, kayaking, enjoying the company of friends and family, and playing guitar.
  • IT Administration Jeffrey Angell, BS received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and currently works as a Software Engineer at Qualtrics in Seattle, Washington. He is married to Stefany.
